Overview: As the Managing Director France in the Freight Forwarding industry, you will play a pivotal role in leading and driving the company's operations, strategy, and growth within the Italian market. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including sales, operations, finance, and client relationships, to ensure the achievement of organisational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute tailored strategic plans to drive business growth, expand market presence, and achieve financial objectives within the French region.
Operational Oversight:
Direct all operational functions, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Sales and Market Development:
Lead initiatives in sales and market expansion to acquire new clients, increase market share, and diversify revenue streams. Foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
Assume responsibility for the financial performance of the French region, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost management. Maintain profitability through prudent resource allocation and risk management.
Leadership and Team Development:
Provide inspirational leadership to the French team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Support the professional growth of employees to drive organizational success.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Identify and mitigate risks to safeguard the company's reputation and assets.
Market Intelligence and Analysis:
Stay informed of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer preferences in the French logistics sector. Utilize insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Customer-centric Approach:
Champion a customer-centric philosophy, prioritizing service quality, responsiveness, and client satisfaction to nurture strong and lasting client relationships.
