At ModaResa, our mission is clear: to become the premier modern web application for sustainable planning and sourcing across the global B2B sector in sportswear, lifestyle and fashion.

Job Description

We are seeking a visionary CTO with exceptional skills and a genuine passion for solving complex scheduling optimisation problems, akin to an advanced traveling salesman problem. As our CTO, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of the company, driving innovation, and ensuring that our products and services remain ahead of the curve.

Your Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Advise the CEO on technical decisions to achieve company goals and execute the commercial strategy effectively. Your insights will be crucial in aligning technical initiatives with our business objectives.

Innovation & Execution: Lead the development team in tackling intricate optimisation challenges. Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive our product and tech portfolio to new heights.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to make informed, impactful technical decisions. Enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the technical team through exceptional leadership and clear communication.

Market Awareness: Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies to ensure that ModaResa remains a leader in the industry. Incorporate cutting-edge solutions to continually improve our offerings.

Impactful Solutions: Focus on developing solutions that contribute to reducing the environmental impact of the fashion and sportswear industry. Drive innovation that not only benefits the business but also promotes sustainability.

A seasoned leader with a strong strategic perspective and the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution.

Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of advanced optimisation problems and a track record of solving complex technical challenges.

Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading technical teams, driving productivity, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Your are passionate about optimisation algorithms, upon multiple constraints

You are sensitive to strong product, in another life, you could have been a CTPO too

Preferred Experience

You have hired, managed, and lead teams of minimum 5 people over a period of minimum 2 years

Your are passionate about optimisation algorithms, upon multiple constraints

You are a reliable and inspiring team player never satisfied with the status quo - you require excellence

You truly thrive in a fast-paced, analytical but informal environment

You tend towards growing at company rather than changing jobs often

You are used to working with an agile framework/lean/kanban methodology

You have minimum of 5 years professional experience in Node.JS/React/JS frameworks

Recruitment Process

If we see there is a potential mutual match, we invite you for a short introductory culture fit call over a 30 min Google meet.

Live technical test (2 Hours)

Second technical test with external technical advisor (45 minutes)

1 - 2 hour in-depth interview on your past professional experience with founder in person in Paris.
