Essential Home 2030 ambitions will follow the Reckitt ambitions; by building on the progress we have already made and reflecting the areas where we can maximise our positive and enduring impact.About the roleYou will be instrumental in driving our Sustainability supply agenda, putting Essential Home at the forefront of sustainability in its sector and unlocking long-term value growth.Your responsibilitiesOVERALL: The role has full responsibility for the Sustainable Supply Chain (environment and Human Rights) globally working with external partners and senior stakeholder management across the internal global function.Lead the development and implementation of Reckitt’s sustainability supply chain strategy with our own manufacturing units, with suppliers and with primary raw material producers,Represent Reckitt with external supply partners to build and deliver programmes, demonstrate performance, communicate and promote Reckitt’s policy and positions, and report progressLead Reckitt’s sustainability performance and ensure compliance on environment and human rights agendas in our global value chain, working closely with our supply chain leader to deliver sustainable ambition, net zero roadmap, human right policy and commitments, responsible sourcing and biodiversity programmesLead and develop Reckitt’s environmental and net zero strategies, including decarbonization, carbon management and climate-related financial riskLead, develop and coordinate Reckitt’s environmental programmes to deliver our net zero ambitions and roadmap to water stewardship programmes, waste management and supplier environmental performance to address scope 3 decarbonization.Human Rights: lead and develop Reckitt’s human rights and value chain social impact agenda, to ensure our human rights policy, labour standards commitments are maintained with measurable positive supply chain community impactEcosystems and biodiversity: lead Reckitt’s sustainable supply chains programmes, protecting and strengthening ecosystems and biodiversity though supplier and partner programmes at origin, including addressing nature-related financial risk.The experience we're looking forThe successful candidate will be a self-starter that is able to work independently and possess the ability to collaborate, motivate and work effectively with variety of different internal and external employees and stakeholders, to inspire a positive culture of respect for strong human rights and environmental standards within our entire value chain.Supply chain leader with excellent influencing, communications and stakeholder engagement skills, credible at all levels of the business and with external stakeholders,Demonstrate supply chain (and preferably FMCG within global brands) experience (7Y+), driving sustainability (environment, human rights, responsible and sustainable sourcing) performance in a global supply networkDemonstrate leadership in:Environmental strategy development and deliver with decarbonization strategy, water and waste,Human rights and labour standards within global supply chain, involving origin raw materials,Ecosystems and biodiversity protectionWhat we offerWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
