Liquidity steering

Job Description You join the ALM Liquidity Steering team, within the Financial Management Department (BOAT), which encompasses key areas such as buffer management, financial operations, asset/liability management and treasury. This role of liquidity analyst interacts with all the business lines of Natixis, providing an overview of the bank’s activities. In this role, you work collaboratively within the ALM department, focusing on enhancing our expertise and monitoring business impacts on our balance sheet, in particular with regard to exposure transpositions of liquidity consumption and also the leverage ratio. This is a new position created specifically to handle the steering of leverage exposures, a critical indicator subject to close scrutiny by supervisors; the role will involve daily monitoring of these ratios and collaborating with key business partners to anticipate constraints and capabilities, all as part of continuous improvements to our operational framework. On a daily basis, your duties are to: Actively drive liquidity ratios and metrics, including cash consumption and leverage ratio, by providing regular projections for the business lines and General Management, notably through the ALM committees chaired by the CEO of Natixis; Contribute to liquidity consumption modeling and develop short, medium, and long-term liquidity forecasts to support business planning; Collaborate closely with the Global Markets, Financings, Global Trade businesses, as well as Treasury, Finance and Risk teams, to ensure a shared and integrated approach to liquidity management; Anticipate potential deviations of controlled ratios from regulatory and internal thresholds, proposing and implementing corrective actions if necessary; Identify opportunities to improve tools and processes related to liquidity management, aligning with our strategic direction of liquidity chain restructuring; Contribute to the development and implementation of new analysis and steering tools, enhancing our overall liquidity management framework. Ideally, you have experience in liquidity management or a related field. You master: The different activities, products, types of transactions operated within a CIB Their impacts on the management of a balance sheet; Ideally a knowledge on the different liquidity metrics. You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen, you are: An excellent communicator and you are able to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders; Rigorous and attentive to details; Committed and motivated by teamwork.
