The Engineering Team We build the infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to provide first‑class service to members, health professionals, and ourselves. Our stack includes Python/Flask, React, React Native, and PostgreSQL. Tech Foundations Area Mission: Enable product crews with world‑class infrastructure, intuitive developer experience, operational excellence, and built‑in security. Scope: Infrastructure enablement (hosting, CI/CD, scalability, multi‑cloud). Security and compliance facilitation (authentication, encryption, threat protection). Developer productivity enhancements (local setup, monorepo tooling, observability, tech stack evolution). Design and development unification (design system, accessibility). AI‑assisted engineering enablement (agentic development, code assistants, MCP servers). Focus for 2026: Grow the team and expand our cloud footprint with a multi‑cloud strategy, elevate quality bars across infrastructure, and advance AI‑augmented development and security tooling. Are you the right fit? Responsibilities: Tackle high‑impact & high‑risk projects with many engineers. Design and implement robust infrastructure systems with a focus on reliability and observability. Maintain uptime targets and optimize infrastructure costs. Improve incident management processes and lead post‑mortems. Build and maintain internal tooling (API, web interface, internal command line, etc.). Mentor other engineers and lead crews. Contribute to hiring and shape the technical assessment process. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a Platform/Infrastructure Engineer. Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS. Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools. Comfortable writing code for automation and tooling. Background as a Full‑Stack or Backend software engineer. Willingness to work in Python/JavaScript. Understanding of modern deployment practices and CI/CD. Excellent debugging skills for complex systems. Self‑starting, entrepreneurial, and humble. Collaborative and enthusiastic about teamwork.
