Fullstack Software Engineer (x/f/m) – Ops AI Platform Join Alan’s Ops AI Platform team as a Fullstack Software Engineer (x/f/m). The role focuses on building an AI‑powered platform that lets our operational teams create, evolve, and monitor autonomous agents to automate thousands of tedious tasks. Alan’s vision is to make prevention the new norm of care for all, building a vertically integrated health partner that unites insurance and smart healthcare delivery into one system, creating a member‑centric experience. About Alan Alan partners with 35 K+ companies, serves more than 1 M users, and has reached over 770 M € in ARR. The team of 700+ people (still growing) operates across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. Our culture is guided by values such as obsession with helping members live healthier, high standards, distributed ownership, radical transparency, and a focus on speed and simplicity. Team & Product Focus The Ops AI Platform will allow Ops staff to build AI agents that work autonomously, integrated with all internal and external tools. The platform will provide UIs for monitoring, evaluation, and safety, and a toolset for connecting AI agents to business data, external servers, web dashboards, and more. Responsibilities Shape the architecture and foundations of a brand‑new platform from ground zero. Design and implement features that integrate agents with internal tools, including context‑aware chat modals and instant impact on business data. Enable non‑technical users to create and maintain agents, providing tools for prompting, tool configuration, testing, datasets, replayability, and evaluations. Build a comprehensive set of tools for AI agents to connect to internal business data and external capabilities. Ensure safety and accuracy through robust testing, stateful evaluation, progressive rollout, human‑in‑the‑loop validation, and fine‑grained permissions. Scale the system from a few dozen to tens of thousands of tasks automated daily. Contribute to system architecture, code quality, and engineering culture, including hiring and mentoring engineers. Qualifications Product engineers with 3+ years of experience, excited about building state‑of‑the‑art AI systems for real‑world, high‑stakes problems. Strong background in full‑stack software engineering and systems architecture, with a focus on back‑end engineering. Experience with machine learning, large language models, or ML‑DevOps is a big plus. Product‑mindset: you want your solutions to be used and impactful. Self‑directed, pragmatic, and eager to grow. Collaborative, enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching. Fluent in English (French language not required). Fit at Alan High potential and curiosity. Enjoys working at the frontier of LLMs, tool calling, human‑in‑the‑loop, UX, and multi‑agent architectures. Can handle production deployment, performance scaling, and system reliability. Benefits & Perks Fair rewards: generous equity packages complement base salary. Flexible office: HQ space, co‑working hubs, or full‑remote with home office sponsorship. All‑tools package: MacBook Pro, keyboard, laptop stand, monitor, noise‑canceling headphones. Flexible vacation policy and working hours.
