About The Role Reporting to the Service Execution Manager, the Service Engineer leads the technical coordination and execution performance of assigned service orders within the Sub‑Region, providing global field services technical expertise. This technical role is an essential member of the Service Execution team, positively impacting regional results and overall business success. The Service Engineer provides technical responsibility over service orders including quotation support, on‑ and off‑site coordination; defines resource, tools and material requirements; reports and contacts customers mainly to support the upgrades (service projects). Key Responsibilities Drive a culture of Service Excellence, delivering a first‑class customer experience and positive satisfaction scores. Act as a player/coach for service execution tasks. Manage the execution of Service orders for upgrades/projects from sales hand‑over to final customer acceptance together with the Service Project Manager. Collaborate with Service and Systems Execution functions for resolution, risk management and technology (Installation & Commissioning, automation, engineering, quality, etc.). Comply with SPX FLOW project execution processes, methods and tools. Act as site leader for service projects/upgrades, ensuring compliance with the site EH&S plan and coordinating SPX contractors with the customer, communicating on site, and reporting to the Project Manager. Serve as installation & commissioning leader on site: conduct site reviews, quality controls, level of installation completion, technical support, works coordination. Manage risks and opportunities, quality control and procedures related to service execution. Work closely with the Service Coordinator team to ensure seamless execution leading to customer invoicing. Coordinate with Service Coordinators for delivery lead times of service items. Partner with the Warranty Service Manager for quality issues, monitoring open warranties/claims to closure. Commit to EHS rules to ensure all Service execution activities are performed safely and meet SPX Flow or customer standards. Support the Sales function for service activities timely and efficiently. Support service technicians/engineers, sharing knowledge and skills. Assist with Accounts Receivables to the Service Manager. Adhere to all relevant SPX policies and procedures, including business ethics, data protection and health & safety. About You – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Precise and punctual work ethic. Strong analytical skills – capable of identifying and providing solutions to customer issues or service execution problems. Attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others through influencing and negotiation skills. Process commissioning knowledge: instrumentation setup, valves, pumps, homogenizers, PHE start‑up. Maintenance skills for valves, pumps, homogenizers and PHE: gasket and seal replacement, routine maintenance. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Broad organizational business acumen. Good understanding of SPX Flow equipment and processes, or a skillset to learn. Ability to handle complexity, meet multiple demands with urgency and energy. Capability to collaborate with others. Positive thinker, finding solutions in critical situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. Education and Experience Technical bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a service‑related field (required). 5–10 years of experience handling complex interventions in the N&H industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP). Valid driving license.
