Control Manager Power Train System

Mission Lead the strategy and implementation of control systems for powertrains (thermal, hybrid) to ensure performance, regulatory compliance, and robustness of delivered solutions. Ensure technical and project coordination between SW, HW, calibration, and validation teams. Key Challenges Ensure consistency of control functions in a multi-project and multi-technology context Meet QCDP objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance) for SW/HW deliverables Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, Cybersecurity) Responsibilities Define and maintain the control architecture for the propulsion perimeter Drive the roadmap for control functions (torque management, energy management, diagnostics) Oversee functional validation (HIL/SIL, vehicle testing) Ensure requirement traceability and compliance with standards Make technical decisions in collaboration with SW Project Leaders, HW Leaders, Calibration Manager Provide KPI reporting and risk management to senior management Participate in taskforces in case of technical or quality crises Key Activities Develop the control development plan and monitor its execution Lead technical reviews and convergence committees Coordinate calibration and validation activities Manage changes through GDM/PEPP processes Contribute to reuse strategy and standardization of solutions Mission (French) Piloter la stratégie et la mise en œuvre des systèmes de contrôle pour les groupes motopropulseurs (thermiques, hybrides) afin de garantir la performance, la conformité réglementaire et la robustesse des solutions livrées. Assurer la coordination technique du projet entre les équipes logiciel (SW), matériel (HW), calibration et validation. Principaux défis Garantir la cohérence des fonctions de contrôle dans un contexte multi-projets et multi-technologies Atteindre les objectifs QCDP (Qualité, Coût, Délai, Performance) pour les livrables SW/HW Assurer la conformité aux normes (ISO 26262, ASPICE, Cybersécurité) Responsabilités (French) Définir et maintenir l'architecture de contrôle pour le périmètre propulsion Piloter la feuille de route des fonctions de contrôle (gestion du couple, gestion énergétique, diagnostics) Superviser la validation fonctionnelle (HIL/SIL, essais véhicule) Garantir la traçabilité des exigences et la conformité aux standards Prendre les décisions techniques en collaboration avec les chefs de projet SW, responsables HW, et le responsable calibration Faire le reporting des KPI et la gestion des risques aux métiers et projets Participer aux taskforces en cas de crise technique ou qualité Activités clés (French) Élaborer le plan de développement des contrôles et suivre son exécution Animer les revues techniques et les comités de convergence Coordonner les activités de calibration et de validation Gérer les évolutions via les processus GDM/PEPP Contribuer à la stratégie de réutilisation et à la standardisation des solutions Profile Technical Control systems for propulsion (ICE, Hybrid) Torque/energy management algorithms, calibration Communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) Standards: ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR Tools: MATLAB/Simulink, INCA, CANoe, PLM Project QCDP management, planning, KPI reporting Change Management (GDM, PEPP) Cross-functional coordination Behavioral Cross-functional leadership Decision-making and arbitration skills Clear and concise communication Education & Experience Engineering degree in electronics, automation, or computer science ≥ 10 years of experience in control systems or propulsion SW development Minimum B2 level in English (international meetings) EEO Statement At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
