We have partnered with a fast‑moving deep‑tech team building next‑generation, minimally invasive medical robotics and software that improve patient outcomes.We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join the team.What you’ll doOwn architecture, development and the product roadmap across embedded, backend and frontend systems.Design, implement and test software components; ensure scalability, modularity and robustness.Lead feature development to meet product milestones and clinical requirements.Work closely with hardware, systems and product teams to guarantee tight software‑hardware integration.Build and maintain development infrastructure: servers, cloud environments, CI/CD and deployment pipelines.Champion modern engineering practices and keep the team current with advances in robotics and medical software.Regulatory & QualityEnsure software development practices comply with medical device standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).Implement and oversee static code analysis, automated testing and traceable documentation.Support preparation of technical documentation for audits and regulatory submissions.Foster a culture of quality, traceability and engineering discipline across the lifecycle.Team leadershipLead, mentor and grow a team of ~4 software engineers.Run sprint planning, code reviews and technical workshops to maintain engineering excellence.Drive hiring, onboarding and career development; provide regular feedback and hands‑on guidance.About YouTechnical skillsExpert in Python with production experience, static analysis and automated testing.Proven experience in regulated product development (medical device, robotics, or similar).Comfortable across embedded systems, cloud infrastructure and software‑hardware interfaces.Strong with Git, CI/CD and testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest, or equivalents).Personal attributesHands‑on, pragmatic technical leader who can both code and guide.Excellent communicator able to bridge technical and non‑technical stakeholders.Organized, proactive, and effective at prioritizing in a fast‑paced startup environment.Passionate about building impactful, mission‑driven technology.Education & experienceDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.5+ years leading software teams in demanding or regulated industries (MedTech, robotics, aerospace, etc.).If this position is of interest, click the quick apply position or drop me an email:Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Established Search by 2xGet notified about new Software Engineering Manager jobs in Paris, Île-de-France, France. #J-18808-Ljbffr
