IQVIA is expanding its team and is seeking a Market Access and Public Affairs Specialist based in France. This is one of several newly created roles across the EU due to our customers’ ongoing success, and ahead of product launches in 2026. Our customer is a global biopharmaceutical company, dedicated to bringing biosimilar medicines to market, ensuring high-quality biologics are available to more patients at cost effective prices. ResponsibilitiesMeet and exceed country sales target while supporting the wider commercial team in achieving their objectivesDevelop and execute a country-wide market access plan in collaboration with the Country Manager and EU Tender Department to ensure portfolio availabilityDrive commercial success for biosimilars in the retail pharmacy market by negotiating, partnering, and influencing key stakeholders across the distribution and retail ecosystemMap, engage, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including wholesalers, pharmacy groups (VTOs), GPO buyers, payers, policy makers, trade organizations, and KOLsLead negotiations with wholesalers and pharmacy networks to secure product listings, agreements, and optimal distribution channel inclusionIdentify new business opportunities and prepare business cases to maximize local valueBuild and strengthen strategic partnerships that support product adoption and competitive positioning, including contributing to substitution strategies for biosimilarsMonitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to inform strategy and maintain competitive advantageSupport advocacy and policy initiatives to promote the value, sustainability, and wider adoption of biosimilars QualificationsScientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc, etc.)Proven background in retail market access / pharmacy market accessProven track record in companies marketing biosimilars, generics, or substitutable prescription productsHands-on experience negotiating with wholesalers, pharmacy groups (VTOs), and retail distribution networksDemonstrable success in product launches in the retail sector, with a full understanding of the value chainStrong knowledge of French regulatory framework around pricing, rebates, and commercial conditions for prescription drugsStrategic vision with a medium to long-term perspective on retail market evolutionPolitical acumen and ability to navigate complex regulatory environmentsExperience in advocacy and policy shaping to support biosimilar adoptionExcellent time management, organization skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projectsFluency in French with strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; English language ability would be highly desirable Please apply in English.
