The Director of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) / Corporate Development will be responsible for leading and executing the company's M&A strategy, identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets, and managing the end‑to‑end M&A process. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments. Key Responsibilities Design the roadmap: Buy vs. Build Develop and Execute M&A Strategy: Formulate and implement the company's M&A strategy in alignment with corporate goals and objectives. Identify Acquisition Targets: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets that align with the company's strategic objectives. Financial Analysis and Valuation: Perform detailed financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence on potential acquisition targets. Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations and structure deals to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company. Integration Planning: Develop and execute integration plans to ensure smooth transitions and maximize synergies post‑acquisition. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, legal, finance, and external advisors, to ensure successful deal execution. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with M&A transactions. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation to senior management and the board of directors. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in M&A, corporate development. Skills Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Excellent negotiation and deal‑making abilities. Proven track record of successfully leading and executing M&A transactions. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
