About the Role
Kitchen Porter/ Night Porter – Skibound Winter 26/27. This role is based at one of our three club hotels across the French Alps: Alpe d’Huez, Les Menuires, and Serre Chevalier. You will work a dual schedule, alternating day shifts in the kitchen and night shifts in the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Support the kitchen team by washing pots, pans, plates and cutlery; deep‑cleaning the kitchen area after service; taking bins out; and assisting with food preparation.
- Perform health and safety checks and respond to guest queries and issues during night shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness in communal areas during the night and ready the hotel for the next day.
- Prepare takeaway lunches for guests or set up the breakfast buffet towards the end of your night shift.
- Adjust between day and night duties as scheduled, ensuring adequate recovery time.
- Provide support in other hotel areas during key times such as changeover days when the team resets the hotel for new guests.
Skills & Experience
- Previous Kitchen Porter or Night Porter experience preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to work both day and night shifts on a rotational pattern.
- Customer service experience is a bonus.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Works well individually and as part of a team.
- Responsible and reliable.
Remuneration and Benefits
- Competitive seasonal salary paid in Euros; all staff on a French contract for winter 26/27.

Eligibility
- Fully available from November 2026 to end of April 2027.
- Must be 18 or over.
- EU documentation preferred (EU passport, French residency permit or Carte de Sejour).
- UK passport holders may apply but must obtain a French work permit and visa.
