Renowned for delivering high-quality service and building long-term client relationships, they are currently seeking an Accountancy Practice Client Manager to join their growing team. THE ROLE As an Accountancy Practice Client Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, supporting them with a wide range of accounting and tax matters. This pivotal position offers strong progression prospects and the chance to play a key role in mentoring junior team members and strengthening client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact and providing day-to-day support. Deliver technical advice and guidance across accounting and taxation issues, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Review accounts and tax returns prepared by junior staff to maintain accuracy and quality. Mentor and support junior team members, helping them develop their professional skills. Identify opportunities to enhance client services through business development, cross-selling, and advisory work. Collaborate with senior colleagues on tax planning and advisory projects. REQUIREMENTS ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified (or equivalent). Prior experience working within an accountancy practice is essential. Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with accounting software and digital tools. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Desirable Attributes Commercial awareness and sound business understanding. Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues. Proactive, solutions-focused approach. Ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively within a team.
