Joining Supply & Energy Management means becoming part of a team of over 10,000 experts across 20 countries, united by a mission to shape a greener and more efficient energy future.The Business platform “Short-Term Gas” within GEMS handles physical operations for its customers, including scheduling, balancing, asset optimization, delivery oversight for gas trading activities, and LNG scheduling of discharge and reloading slots.Role and responsibilitiesAcquiring and developing in-depth knowledge of gas markets operating rules.Maintain in-depth knowledge of GEMS's European gas portfolio and ensure its modeling in GDP tools.Conduct physical operations (balancing, nominations, control & follow-up of matching reports) arising from gas trading activities.Monitor and control GEMS gas physical trading activities on the delivery aspects.Put in place and update internal processes and systems to support new business and adapt to market rules changes.Lead initiatives or projects related to GDP operational activities and/or its digital and commercial ambitions.Participate in Short-term trading activities and asset optimization (out of office trading).Work in shift 2*8 (morning, evening and weekend - some public holidays).Collaborate with GEMS teams on projects where you bring short-term management expertise (contract negotiation, capacity subscription policy, etc.).Qualifications and skillsIn-depth knowledge of European gas system, balancing rules, capacity booking and utilization rules, and gas markets.Knowledge of gas trading activities (Booking, P&L, Risk, Limits) and related compliance.Software programming skills (preferably Python) and data skills.Operational, rigorous, reliable, entrepreneurial, and resilient to stress; proactive planning; team player; quick judgment and problem-solving mindset; openness and adaptability; emotional intelligence.Fluent in French and professional in English.Application and equal opportunityIf you meet these requirements, apply by attaching your updated CV.
