By displacing fossil fuels for the production of key chemicals Dioxycle has the potential to ultimately reduce over 800 million tons of CO2 per year representing over 2% of the worlds emissions. At the core of our process is a novel carbon electrolyzer a machine capable of using just electricity and water to convert carbon emissions back into valuable everyday essential chemicals. Our team is innovating across chemical mechanical and system engineering to turn carbon transformation into an economically feasible industrial reality through this completely novel technological approach. Having completed our medium-scale Proof-of-Concept electrolyzer we are now working towards a first-of-its-kind large-scale industrial prototype and are assembling key partnerships for future commercial roll-out. We are supported by world-class funders including Lowercarbon Capital Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Gigascale Capital and have raised $37M to date. We operate from two centers in Paris and California (so whether you are passionate about outdoors or good food / art scenes we have a location for you to join) Your Mission Dioxycle is seeking a dedicated hands‑on and detail‑oriented IT Manager who in collaboration with our Systems team will be in charge of the development of our IT and (cyber)security systems. Under the supervision of Dioxycle's Director of Engineering you will be in charge of the health and continued improvement of all our IT cybersecurity and security systems. We are seeking a technically adept individual who is enthusiastic about applying their engineering expertise to write reliable embedded software and help us develop new equipments. Key Responsibilities : Maintain and continuously improve the companys IT environment including the fleet of laptops mobile devices operating systems SaaS tools networks and user accounts ensuring reliability and scalability as the company grows. Design implement and operate cybersecurity controls across endpoints identity cloud infrastructure and internal systems including access management patching monitoring and incident response. Ensure security and IT readiness for customers partners and investors including responding to security questionnaires preparing audits or certifications (e.g. SOC 2 / ISO 27001) and documenting policies procedures and risk decisions. Establish and promote practical security and IT practices across the company through clear policies onboarding training and day‑to‑day guidance that balances security usability and engineering velocity.
