OverviewRoundtable is aiming to revolutionize private asset management by building a social platform to democratize investments in alternative assets in Europe (start-ups, private equity, art, crypto-assets, etc.). Alternative asset classes will grow fast in the coming years as traditional investments’ returns trend down, inflation rises, and tech enables easier democratization outside the Ultra High Net Worth sphere. As a first step, Roundtable has been building the go-to platform for everything related to angel investing in startups. Roundtable now empowers angel investors to invite their network to co-invest alongside them, automating regulatory and process flows under the hood. 15,000+ investors onboarded.We are now enabling them to easily start small VC funds to share their deal flow even more easily. Further down the line, we will open other asset classes (such as Private Equity) and aim to become the one-stop shop for non-professional investors for all alternative asset investments.The founding teamA complementary, experienced founding team:Evan - CEO, ex-Principal at BCGSimon - CTO, serial entrepreneur & seasoned tech leaderThe roleSeniorOperations Associate, you’ll be at the heart of Roundtable’s engine, ensuring operational excellence and smooth execution for our clients’ investment vehicles.Your mission will revolve around two main pillars:1) Client RelationsYou’ll assist and guide clients (from founders to investors) throughout the entire process. This is a key aspect of the role as we deal with complex issues for demanding audiences. This requires a solid command of administrative matters as well as a broader knowledge of accounting and legal issues.You will help our customers (start-up founders or fund managers) to ensure a smooth onboarding and vehicle creation process and to support their investment-related enquiries.You will also interact with our customers’ customers, the investors investing in their opportunities, on their questions.It’s a dynamic, high-impact role where you’ll interact directly with top-tier European founders and investors from 60+ nationalities including several billionaires.2) Operations & AdministrationYou’ll handle the full operational lifecycle:Legal incorporation of investment vehiclesCoordination with banks, notaries, and domiciliation partnersInvestor KYC and compliance checksContinuous improvement of internal processes (we are looking for people challenging the existing and pushing the team in the right direction).The challengesFast timelines: we aim to launch each deal in under a weekHigh expectations: top-tier founders and investorsComplexity: highly regulated, multi-stakeholder environmentMultitasking: balancing priorities and incoming requests simultaneously between different deals and different sales counterpartEducation: Master’s degree in Business or equivalent (Finance/Operations major is a plus)Experience: 5 years of experience, with a proven track record in operations or client-facing roles, ideally in fintech, legal tech, or VC.Languages: Fluent in French and EnglishEntrepreneurial mindset: thrives in fast-paced, high-responsibility environmentsHighly adaptable and curious: You’ll be wearing a lot of hatsTeam player: collaborative, open, and eager to learnDeeply autonomous: You don’t need hand-holding or constant direction to achieve your goals.
