The Role – What You’ll Do As a Network & System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise networks and IT systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for our global SaaS infrastructure. Your main responsibilities will include: Designing, configuring, and managing enterprise network architectures across multiple locations Maintaining servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, hybrid) Monitoring network and system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing high‑availability solutions Managing firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security protocols to safeguard critical infrastructure Supporting IT automation, scripting, and infrastructure‑as‑code initiatives (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell) Implementing and monitoring backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies Collaborating with DevOps, Security, and IT teams to optimize network performance, security, and compliance Documenting network configurations, system architectures, and operational procedures for global teams Evaluating and integrating emerging technologies to improve system efficiency, security, and scalability About You – What You Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field 5–8+ years of experience in enterprise network and system engineering Fluency in English, French, and German (verbal and written), additional languages a plus Expertise in enterprise networks, routing/switching, VLANs, firewalls, and WAN/LAN architectures Hands‑on experience with servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), storage systems, and cloud infrastructure Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform) Experience with security frameworks, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and compliance standards Knowledge of high‑availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global, cross‑functional teams Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, or equivalent) This role is ideal for a highly skilled, multilingual Network & System Engineer who thrives in complex enterprise environments, is passionate about IT infrastructure and security, and can deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions across a global SaaS organization.
