Designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and RESTful APIs to support scalable web applications.Position OverviewWe are seeking a proficient Backend Web Developer to build and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with backend frameworks and languages including Java, .NET/C#, and Python, along with designing RESTful APIs and ensuring system scalability and security.You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable backend solutions that meet business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support web and mobile applicationsWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient server-side code in Java, .NET/C#, Python, or similar languagesImplement authentication, authorization, and security best practices in backend systemsDatabase Management & IntegrationDesign and optimize database schemas and queries (SQL and NoSQL databases)Integrate third-party services and APIs as neededEnsure data consistency, integrity, and performance across backend systemsWork with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logicParticipate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain code qualityCollaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor backend services, ensuring uptime and scalabilityPerformance & SecurityOptimize backend processes for speed, scalability, and reliabilityImplement logging, monitoring, and alerting for backend systemsAddress security vulnerabilities and apply patches proactivelyRequired Qualifications7+ years experience in backend development with expertise in at least one language: Java, .NET/C#, or PythonProven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIsStrong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and security best practicesExperience with version control systems (Git) and collaboration toolsPreferred QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldKnowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systemsUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks #J-18808-Ljbffr
