Product Developer We are looking for a Product Developer to handle technical development of Giro and Fox seasonal cycling footwear collection, from merchandising brief to mass production. This position will be responsible for product testing, material and tooling development, costing and timeline management, and will work directly in coordination with Giro’s North America Product Creation Team, factories and other cross‑functional teams. The junior product developer reports to the director of footwear development. Responsibilities Apply fundamental understandings of product and category objectives to recommend and specify material, component, and construction options to meet key features, product performance and costing goals. Plan and execute development according to critical dates and schedule, ensuring samples are made and delivered on time and within control. Develop testing methods and standards to validate product in partnership with our lab team and outsource partner. Recruit a testing crew to validate the product during usage. Work with the Asian‑based development team to improve cost and ease of manufacturing throughout development and after product launch. Maintain design documentation such as engineering drawings, product and material specifications, bill of materials, etc., to ensure quality in product designs. Evaluate 2D & 3D tooling files to verify performance standards, design intent and manufacturability before prototyping. Location Position can be based in Annecy. First 6 months with time in French PACA region to get induction / training period. International travel requested worldwide. Profile Passionate about sport / interested in cycling.
