Our team comprises 650+ people and operates across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada.ResponsibilitiesRisk modelingStrengthen and automate the building of our Solvency 2 balance sheet and capital requirements projections, covering health, death and disability business linesModel new risks as they arise (new insurance products, branches, international, investment, etc.)Challenge our risk appetite, propose new risk metrics, and build tools to monitor themSupport board meeting preparation and communication with investors regarding capital evolution and market risksRegulatoryScale and automate production of regulatory quantitative reporting and contribute to SFCR, RSR and ORSA reportsSupport discussions with supervisors and assess international opportunitiesAssist opening of new countriesCapital managementPropose improvements to capital management in the four countries where Alan is presentManage reinsurance strategy, negotiate with partners, and analyze reinsurance reportingTeam GrowthCreate processes and resources to strengthen the team’s understanding of risk and capital constraintsSupport identification and hiring of new talents for the Insurance and Risk teamsQualificationsSolid expertise in the Solvency 2 regulatory framework, especially S2 accounting; knowledge of Health, Life and Market risks is a bonusFluent in English with written proficiency in French for regulatory interactionsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including data analysis capabilitiesAbility to automate processes and build new tools; programming skills are a plusRigor and reliability in reporting production; able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholdersWillingness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies with creative problem-solving approachesPerks & BenefitsFair rewards: generous equity packages complement your base salaryFlexible Office: HQ space, sponsored co-working hubs, or full-remote with home office equipment sponsorshipAll the tools you need: high-end equipmentFlexible vacation and working hoursComprehensive health insurance: 100% for you and your children, 90-100% for partners depending on country (permanent contracts)Transport: country-specific commuter benefitsLearning & Training opportunities: flexible policy and budget for books and conferencesPersonal growth through coaching: dedicated coach from day oneParental leave: extended parental leave for all new parentsImportant note: we hire people, not roles.
