Manager Independence Technology

As the Manager, Independence Technology & Compliance Tools, you will lead the strategic evolution of WeCheck, our global independence and acceptance compliance tool. This role requires ownership of the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance, driving user adoption, and delivering enhancements that meet regulatory and business needs. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across Audit, Assurance, Compliance, Risk, and IT, translating user requirements into actionable solutions while maintaining the highest standards of independence.
What You Will
DoDefine and maintain the vision and roadmap for the evolution of WeCheck, an independence toolMonitor regulatory changes and firm policies to ensure tool compliance and relevanceCollect and analyze user feedback to continuously improve usability and efficiencyPrioritize enhancements to the tool based on business needs, compliance requirements, and user feedbackAct as the primary liaison between global teams, gathering requirements and aligning prioritiesLead governance meetings and communicate product updates to senior stakeholdersOversee development and deployment of new functionalities, integrations, and reporting capabilities within the toolAct as a liaison for testing, UAT, and rollout for system updatesEnsure data integrity and implement controls for compliance monitoringOversee the design and delivery of training programs, onboarding materials, and communication plansDevelop and automate reporting templates for independence checks and KPIsProvide insights to leadership on tool performance and compliance metricsIdentify risks related to independence processes and propose mitigation strategiesDrive change management initiatives for global adoption of new featuresMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field5+ years of relevant experience in Audit, preferably in an international firmProven experience managing cross-functional or international teams and multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to lead teams and implement operational protocolsHands-on experience with WeCheck or similar independence systemPreferred QualificationsExperience in a global or matrixed organizationProficient with advanced data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI)Familiarity with independence and acceptance compliance standardsStrong understanding of strategic planning, organizational alignment, compliance, data governance, and project managementExcellent problem-solving, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsAbility to travel both domestically and internationally #J-18808-Ljbffr
