**OVERVIEW**:
Business Transformation Services (BTS) is the advisory arm of SAP’s Services organization. We assist clients in achieving their Digital Transformation vision and driving Business value from their SAP and other IT investments. SAP’s vision is to drive business value and successful outcomes by helping our customers understand how best to leverage, implement and optimize SAP solutions for the industries in which they operate.

Our team draws on insights and experience from thousands of SAP customer implementations. BTS works with customers at the program level through the life cycle of their engagement with SAP. We start in the sales phase interacting at the Business/Enterprise level to define, deliver, and measure strategic business outcomes. BTS helps drive the Land, Adopt, Consume and Expand model of engagement which is key to our customer’s and SAP’s success.

The BTS Technology Architect role will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for SAP’s customers on all the technical aspect. It will involve coordination with SAP RISE teams and driving opportunities for SAP Services. The role is focused on the France Market unit and involves extensively working with Services Sales, Delivery Centers and Delivery teams in the Market unit. The scoped engagements include Greenfield, Conversions and Landscape Transformations focused on the move and the RISE adoption.

This is a key leadership role, requiring deep knowledge and understanding of SAP technical solution and ability to leverage these capabilities within our customer core business processes and industry best practices.

Excellent facilitation and communication skills are essential as is the ability to effectively engage with executive stakeholders, partners, and SAP account teams.

**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**:

- Manage Technical Architecture topics on SAP/partner led projects with focus on Customer life-time value
- Support BTS transformation advisory activities in the technology area.
- Support RISE related service sales and facilitate customer subscription and adoption.
- Work with Market unit sales and services colleagues to position and solution Services engagements
- Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers IT and business executives
- Leverage industry and SAP reference technical architectures for successful transformation outcomes

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**:

- 7+ years experience in technical roles in SAP implementation projects (Greenfield, Conversions, upgrades, etc.)
- Leadership
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in infrastructure delivery
- Knowledge in innovative SAP technology topics (i.e. HANA, Cloud).
- Experience in elaboration of technical implementation strategy or technical architecture specifications
- Coordination of customer project members and taking over project tasks
