Software Engineer – Global Architecture Alan is a vertically integrated health partner building a system that unites insurance and smart healthcare delivery into one platform, serving more than 1 M users across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. The Global Architecture team is central to our global‑first expansion, creating reusable, configurable modules that enable teams to launch features across markets while maintaining local flexibility. Responsibilities Design Cross‑Cutting Modules – Transform country‑specific implementations into elegant global components that become the new building blocks for other teams. Remove Technical Blockers for Product Teams – Tackle cross‑domain technical obstacles and eliminate the need for team‑specific workarounds, allowing product teams to focus on core business. Orchestrate Data Transformations – Implement strategies to harmonise different countries’ data models without sacrificing local flexibility, consolidating existing data into unified schemas. Build and Own Solutions – Own the entire lifecycle of your solutions, from design to deployment and long‑term maintenance. Qualifications 5+ years of experience building production‑grade software, with a proven ability to write code and maintain what you build. Skill navigating complex systems that span multiple business domains and technical boundaries. Experience with diverse architectural patterns and the ability to articulate trade‑offs. Problem‑solving mindset that identifies technical obstacles blocking multiple teams and delivers scalable solutions. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, self‑starting attitude.
