Business Development Representative Associate, English/French Bilingual

OverviewSquare is looking for high-energy, motivated professionals with sound business insight and natural sales instincts to join and help build our Sales Development organisation. You will lay the foundation of this sales effort through identifying prospective sellers and promoting the value of Square for their business. As a Business Development Representative, you will work with our Sales team to find new merchants that fit the Square ecosystem.As the first line of contact, you understand the diverse needs of our merchants. You will become an expert in the products and services that enable merchants to grow with the Square ecosystem. You will use your persuasive approach to document and track qualified opportunities to pass onto the Account Executive team and use a data-driven outbound sales approach that includes prospecting, email communication, and calling at scale.We offer remote working conditions within Marseille.ResponsibilitiesSource businesses within Square's ideal customer profile across a variety of sizes and marketsManage a diverse pipeline of businesses and prioritise outreach to accelerate sales cyclesReach out to businesses in your pipeline at scale through cold calling, emailing and social sellingPromote urgency through a solutions-based sales approach, identifying challenges and providing targeted value around how Square can helpPartner directly with Account Executives to identify winning strategies for outbound prospectingGrow your career in sales through frequent developmental opportunities and mentorship from the Account Executive teamConsistently attain and exceed your monthly quotasRequirementsFluency in English and French (must have)3-6+ months sales experience, including door-to-door or Sales Development Representative roles; short internship experience countsA desire to grow a career in salesAlignment with our Sales Team values: personal leadership, authenticity, teamwork, energy, curiosityEnthusiasm for developing sales skills through cold callingAbout Equal Opportunity and Hiring ProcessBlock is an equal opportunity employer.
