Please see our website at www.acutech-consulting.com for more informationWhat You’ll Do:As part of AcuTech’s European PSM team, you will work directly with our clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management. Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities. Candidates must have high technical acumen, be self-motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under the direction of senior engineers, and handle multiple work assignments and projects. Initial work assignments will be on site performing process safety engineering work, comprised of facilitating PHA's, incident investigations, MOC, and various other process safety management needs.This position offers an excellent opportunity for international, personal and professional growth. Positions offered would be hybrid / remote in nature, with travel to client sites required.Position Requirements:A Bachelors or Masters Degree in a related engineering field (chemical, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, safety)Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service.Between 7 and 12 years of experience in technical process safety, across the Hydrogen Fuels, Oil & Gas industry or Chemical and Petrochemical industries.Experience must include facilitation of PHAs, LOPAs and Audits and understanding of PSM management systems.Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, develop business and utilize strong project and people management skills;Self-learner, self-motivated, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development.Relevant experience in process safety management, experience in process or engineering design processes, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.Ability to for business development, including but not limited to developing proposals and making presentationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.Experience in developing, implementing, or managing PSM programsExperience in developing, writing, & implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, & standard operating proceduresExperience developing & evaluating/auditing PSM management systems & advising management at all level of the organization to effect positive change to operational excellenceCandidate must be based in either The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France or United Kingdom and have ability to work in European Union and UK.What’s PreferredIdeal candidates will be “Seller Doers” with existing client connections and an ability to generate new business.Fluent (minimum C1 level) in one additional European language, preferably German, French or DutchExperience and expertise in PSM Technical Services such as:Process hazard analyses (PHA), and risk assessments, or related studies, such as HAZID, What-If, HAZOP, FMEA, and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)Quantitative Risk Assessment including QRA studies, fault tree/event tree analysis, facility siting studies, fire hazard, explosion, and toxic modelingExperience and expertise in Safety Instrumented Systems services such as:Safety integrity level (SIL) assessment, safety integrity level (SIL) assessment based on recognized knowledge of IEC61511 and related standardsExperience and expertise in dust hazard management services such as:Evaluating processes for dust hazard fire and explosion risks (DHA)Auditing for dust hazard managementExperience and expertise in reactive chemistry hazard managementDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion are core values at AcuTech, and we are passionate about building and sustaining an inclusive and equitable working environment for all.
