OverviewAnalyst/Senior Analyst, Corporate Strategy (Bangkok Based) at AgodaThis role is based in Bangkok. Agoda is an online travel booking platform for accommodations, flights, and more. We build and deploy cutting-edge technology that connects travelers with a global network of hotels, holiday properties, flights, activities, and more. We are part of Booking Holdings and have 7,100+ employees across 27 markets, fostering diversity, creativity and collaboration.Our Corporate Strategy team works with Agoda’s management to provide business-critical insights using analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and drive strategic initiatives forward. We focus on aligning high-level company priorities with day-to-day operations and evolving early-stage ideas into high-impact opportunities.ResponsibilitiesConduct industry and competitor data analysis to support the definition of priorities and key issuesReporting, analysis, and insights: build dashboards to track performance, derive insights, understand growth levers, and communicate recommendations via presentations to stakeholdersCreate business cases for initiatives to be pursued across AgodaSupport articulation of country/department/strategySupport ad-hoc projects, leading independent workstreamsSupport Directors/Associate Directors in the creation of material for the Board/Management teamBuild SQL queries to gather data from multiple databases within Agoda and work with the analytics team to gather required information for the analysisWhat you will need to succeedExperience in data analysis from top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategy/business role for a fast-growing global tech companyBachelor’s degree or higher from a top university in a quantitative subject (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, business, science, or relevant field)Background working in a consultancy firmStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of SQL / Tableau or willingness to learnAbility to think strategically, learn fast, and understand new business dynamicsExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishInnate desire to take ownership, make an impact, and influence outcomesNice to haveSome knowledge of the key levers of the OTA industryStrong presentation and negotiation skillsThis role is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
