Purpose of the role Strategic partner for Business Units to enable and improve market access of innovative therapeutic solutions for Structural Heart Disease and advanced critical care technologies, simplifying decision‑making in the hospital environment. How you'll make an impact Develop and plan market access projects, ensuring successful completion of deliverables Lead and collaborate with Business Units on Market Access Projects, creating new therapeutic/device charge codes, obtaining fair value recognition, and securing reimbursement approval for BID in SHD Select and manage consultants for specific expertise Develop local market access opportunities in strategic accounts with BU team Provide direction to external project teams and participate in internal product launch teams Identify and evaluate market access process improvements and course‑correction opportunities Actively participate in industry work groups (e.g., SNITEM) to represent Edwards interests and influence policy formulation and implementation Build and maintain good relationships with KOLs and healthcare authorities Perform incidental duties as required What you'll need Scientific background (PharmD, MD, Engineering, …) required Additional education in Health Economics, Business, Political Sciences, or Communications preferred 8‑10 years proven experience in Public Affairs with significant experience in Market Access positions within the French healthcare environment Solid experience in multinational pharmaceutical or medical device companies or as a consultant for such companies Appetite for or knowledge of clinical trial methodology expected Demonstrated expertise in pricing and reimbursement processes highly preferred Perfect command of French, including excellent written communication skills, required Fluent in English (spoken and written) required Remote position possible with occasional travel required (less than 15% annually) What else we look for Self‑motivated, result‑oriented, problem solver with strong ownership and leadership skills Proven project management skills Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint Strong communication and influencing skills, able to work in a matrix environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English Recognized expert in government (particularly healthcare) policies with specialized depth within the organization Ability to build good relationships internally (BU partners, PA teams, Country Leadership Team) and externally (KOLs, health‑economists, authorities) Expert understanding of pricing and reimbursement processes Expert understanding of local healthcare system and political environment Detail oriented, analytical and creative approach to complex technical matters Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment Ability to represent leadership on projects and interface with cross‑functional teams Adherence to company rules and requirements (e.g., HCP Policy Compliance, Data Privacy Rules, etc.) What is it like to work at Edwards Lifesciences in France?
