The Group’s vision is to be the aviation service provider of choice through excellence, experience, and expertise.PositionThe Material Coordinator is responsible for organising all materials pertaining to operational effectiveness of ASL Airlines by both system and relationship management.Main activities and responsibilities:Purchase aircraft parts to meet Routine, Critical and AOG requirements to support the airlines operations.Chase outstanding orders with suppliers to meet required deadlines.Build working relationships with existing and new suppliers.Ensure cost effectiveness in all areas of the logistics support functions.Keep data up to date within the stock control system.Comply with the requirements of the ASL MOE and relevant Engineering Procedures.Conduct periodic stock checking for accuracy and financial reporting. Check and validate invoices relating to goods and services purchased.Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate the process.RequirementsEssential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & CertificatesHigh school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Experience and KnowledgeExperience of materials management in a related setting is an advantage.Proficient in the use of MS Office tools; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch (written and spoken); knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.You have a clean certificate of good conduct (required for work on airport sites).Behavioural SkillsStrong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication skills, with sense of diplomacy.Service-minded and customer-minded.Working Conditions: Full-time permanent contract, flexible working hours linked to operations + part of standby system during the weekend.Salary range: According to the experience and skills of the candidate - Competitive package with insurances, in line with the aviation industry.Location: ASL Maintenance - the position is based in Paris CDG (France).Other informationDear Candidate,Thank you for your interest in ASL.Once you submit your CV and cover letter for us, the system automatically sends you an 'Application Confirmation'and a ‘Registration Confirmation’ email which contains a link to activate your account and to choose your password.
