At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable, and more connected world.Job OverviewManages all aspects of a global product line or portfolio, from driving new product development to manufacturing, marketing, and sales. Runs the portfolio as a “mini” GM. Responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to meet sales and margin targets. Manages a team of product managers and/or associate product managers.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesArticulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.Conduct market segmentation exercises to develop market segment-specific strategies.Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking.Define segment-specific value propositions that outperform the competition.Develop product roadmaps aligned with business strategy.Design go-to-market strategies, including channel strategy and partnerships.Collaborate with R&D and operations to develop new products meeting customer requirements.Manage the product lifecycle.Develop Business Plan (Achieve cross-functional alignment)Define resource requirements for the product roadmap.Work cross-functionally to define sales, technology, and operations strategies and goals, aligning with financial targets.Develop the annual operating plan focusing on sales and margins.Champion opportunities for PAC projects.Plan product launches, including marketing and sales strategies.Provide demand forecast inputs for S&OP.Support customer meetings to win new business.Exercise thought leadership.Contribute to marketing collateral, including e-commerce.Execution: Post-Launch Product ManagementManage the profit and loss (sales and margins) for the assigned portfolio.Deliver sustained profitable growth.Enable sales through training and collateral development.Track progress against the business plan and address gaps.Resolve product issues related to quality, delivery, etc.Talent ManagementManage and develop a team of product managers.Candidate Background4-year technical or business degree required.Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant experience preferred.5+ years of product management or sales experience; MBA preferred.Experience in P&L management preferred.Experience as a Global Account Manager or Key Account Manager.Experience in Operations and Business Development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
