We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Engineer to manage the full contract lifecycle, from pre-award activities to post-award administration, for Offshore Wind Farm projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with HSSE policies, company ethics, and contractual best practices while optimizing contract performance and risk management.Key Responsibilities:1. HSSE & Ethics ComplianceDemonstrate exemplary behavior regarding HSSE rules and requirements.Ensure HSSE requirements are integrated into contracts.Uphold company ethics and “Code of Conduct” policies.2. Pre-Award Contract ManagementPrepare and manage the contracting process, including developing tendering dossiers (General and Particular Specifications, Exhibits).Define commercial structures and contract terms.Launch Call for Tenders, manage clarifications and negotiations, and evaluate proposals.Issue final Recommendations to Award.Coordinate and finalize contractual, commercial, and technical documentation.Manage the approval process for contract commitments in ERP systems (UNISOL) and Contract Databases.3. Post-Award Contract ManagementEnsure effective contract execution and administration.Handle contractual and commercial changes in accordance with the Change Order Procedure.Participate in Change Order meetings and approval processes.Manage contractor payments, including verifying progress, milestone payments, and invoicing.Conduct contractor meetings and monitor performance as per contract requirements.Maintain contract records and track key dates.4. Claim Management & Dispute ResolutionAnalyze and review existing contracts/claims.Provide expertise in claim resolution and contract execution phases.Assess the merits of major claims and disputes.Support projects in drafting correspondences and notices to contractors.Work with legal, insurance, and finance teams to settle disputes.5. Budget & Cost Control SupportAssist the Budget and Cost Control team in developing project budgets and subsequent revisions.Track actual expenditures against planned budgets and potential contract changes.Provide commercial insights for project cost optimization.6. Contract Close-OutEnsure smooth contract closure in accordance with project procedures.Issue final contract close-out reports.Maintain strict confidentiality regarding contractual and commercial documentation.RequirementsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree (Bac +5) in Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.Strong expertise in legal, contract writing, and contract management within Offshore Wind Farm projects.Fluent in English and French.Strong negotiation and synthesis skills.Ability to liaise effectively with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
