About the Role As the Engineering Manager of the "Core" team, you’ll drive and manage a Software Engineering unit that manages a wide scope by providing core data and capabilities to the different Product teams. Responsibilities Build and lead a high‑performing team of Software Engineers to manage full‑lifecycle of products (backend, frontend, infrastructure, etc.). Architect robust systems to deliver a wide range of customizable offerings for our members on mobile apps and web interfaces. Collaborate closely with key business units to implement new products and provide valuable feedback. Mentor team members, nurturing their professional growth and development. Administrate core data models to the different bsport teams (client, studio and locations, staff management, teachers, member data). Lead the implementation of our new "API as a Service” offering. Provide and maintain core capabilities for other bsport teams such as Authentication, Permission system, and administration tools for large franchises. Manage our Buyables offering, including subscription and pass architecture and retails solutions. Qualifications Substantial experience in an object‑oriented backend language (Python with Django is a plus). Professional proficiency in English. Ownership mindset and pride in building exceptional products. Detail‑oriented, organised and an effective communicator. Thrives in dynamic, fast‑paced environments and enjoys being challenged.
