People Data & Systems Specialist We are looking for a People Data & Systems Specialist to act as the Guardian of Truth for the People Community. As Alan scales to 600+ employees across Europe, our People operations generate massive amounts of data. Your mission is to ensure the reliability, security, and accuracy of this data while owning the technical maintenance of our tool stack. You will transform our critical “Run” cycles from manual burdens into smooth, error‑free operations. Responsibilities Secure the Critical “Run” Cycles Performance Reviews: Own the data production for bi‑annual review cycles, automating cohort computation and eligibility rules to ensure 100% accuracy. Compensation Hygiene: Maintain and secure Salary Dynamics models (GSheets/Turing) to preserve data integrity needed for fair compensation reviews. QPR Ownership: Lead data generation for Quarterly Performance Reviews across People, Talent, and Workplace. Tooling & Security Ownership Technical Administrator: Act as Level 3 support and technical owner for our core stack (Lattice, Ashby, Alan Home), managing configuration, troubleshooting bugs, and handling renewal discussions. Security Referent: Automate access‑rights management and ensure “privacy by design” across all data workflows. Unify People & Talent Insights Talent Analytics: Bridge hiring and retention data by connecting Ashby data into Metabase to track “Quality of Hire” and funnel velocity. Self‑Serve Dashboards: Build and maintain the Community Insights Dashboard, empowering leads to monitor team health (attrition, engagement) without ad‑hoc requests. Required Qualifications Operational Rigor: Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools (Metabase/Tableau); zero tolerance for data errors. Systems Mindset: Comfortable administering complex SaaS tools (HRIS, ATS) and understanding data flows between them. Structured Communication: Translate complex logic (e.g., review eligibility) into clear explanations for stakeholders. Builder: Proactively investigate root causes and fix broken processes.
