It is this passion for innovation that drives each one of our employees for personal and professional success.What's exciting about the roleAs a Key Account Manager , reporting to the country Sales Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth and shaping the future of payments. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of clients - from Enterprise and Retail to Petro and Online Merchants - while actively hunting for new business opportunities. At least, 50% of your time will be dedicated to prospecting and bringing in new customers.This is a high-impact role where you’ll combine relationship management, strategic account growth, and market expansion. Your success will directly contribute to increasing customer satisfaction, strengthening long-term partnerships, and drive incremental revenue growth.Key responsibilities :Strategic Growth & Business DevelopmentCollaborate with management to define and execute revenue growth strategies.Identify, target, and secure new customers to expand the company’s footprint.Develop tailored business plans for strategic accounts and oversee their execution.Account Management & Client SuccessMaintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, acting as their trusted advisor.Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and needs.Organize and lead client meetings, steering committees, and strategic reviews.Sales ExecutionSchedule and lead prospecting meetings with new and existing accounts.Prepare compelling sales proposals and respond to RFPs / tenders.Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close deals in alignment with company targets.Support contract drafting and ensure compliance with agreed terms.Collaboration & CoordinationCoordinate cross-functional teams to deliver products, solutions, and services on time and to quality standards.Work closely with partners and industry networks to strengthen our market presence.Market Engagement & ReportingRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce experience a plus) and produce clear reports on commercial activity.Skills and Experience we're looking forNative French and advanced English (written and spoken).Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years in B2B sales, ideally within the electronic payments industry.Strong understanding of payment solutions, market trends, competitive landscape, and industry challenges.Proven track record in complex, long-cycle sales environments.Exceptional sales, negotiation, and prospecting skills with the ability to break into new markets.Strong organizational skills, autonomy, leadership, and diplomacy.Excellent communication and active listening abilities, comfortable engaging with C-level executives.Proficiency in Salesforce is an asset.Why join us?Step into an industry leader that’s shaping the future of global payments.Be part of a forward-thinking organization that values innovation and growthWork with a collaborative and passionate team in a dynamic and evolving industryEnjoy competitive compensation, growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment.Our commitmentVerifone is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
