As part of a strategic reinforcement, we are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to lead the planning of complex EP / EPC projects with budgets ranging from €50M to €500M.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, structuring, and management of the overall schedule for major industrial projects. Your main duties will include:

1. Schedule Development & Structuring

  • Develop the project schedule baseline, integrating the defined WBS.
  • Prepare progress measurement sheets and ensure consistency of project phasing.
  • Ensure that all activities (internal teams, client, partners, and suppliers) are properly integrated into the schedule.

2. Coordination & Operational Control

  • Work closely with technical teams to define task dates, durations, logic links, and weightings.
  • Participate in project reviews, coordination meetings, and exchanges with project engineers.
  • Update the schedule on a monthly basis based on actual progress and forecasts.
  • Identify and analyze the critical path and near-critical paths.
  • Propose corrective actions in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Anticipate schedule deviations, analyze delays, and provide improvement actions.

4. Support to Execution Strategy

  • Contribute to defining the project execution strategy.
  • Structure activities from project kick-off through final delivery.
  • Ensure full transparency regarding deadlines, milestones, and progress.

Profile Required

  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in planning management for large EPC industrial projects.
  • Excellent command of Primavera P6 (mandatory).
  • Strong engineering background: ability to read P&IDs, understanding of E&I cycles, and 3D model requirements.
  • Experience on complex projects in sectors such as Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Energy, and Industrial Processes.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Google Sheets.
