French Language Owner (Temporary contract) The Content Team is the creative force behind Surfshark’s written communication — blog posts, landing pages, emails, ads, you name it. Made up of editors, localization managers, performance and creative copywriters, our team ensures every message shines in every language. So, if you can write high‑quality copy, localize content with cultural nuance, and contribute to long‑term strategic content projects, this might be the place for you Responsibilities Own all French-language content — ensuring it’s consistent, on‑brand, factually correct, and high‑quality across channels (web, campaigns, product, and marketing); Edit and refine all AI‑translated French content, ensuring every message is clear, compelling, and aligned with our tone of voice; Write (or translate) original French copy when needed — from headlines and campaign lines to product or marketing messages; Train and improve our internal AI tools to make French translations even smarter; Optimize and update SEO content to boost visibility and engagement; Collaborate with PR, SEO, affiliate, design, and product teams to localize content that connects; Maintain and evolve French linguistic resources (style guide, glossary, tone of voice). Qualifications Native‑level French and excellent English communication skills; A strong background in editing, localisation, or copywriting; Deep understanding of French tone, culture, and linguistic nuances; SEO know‑how — you understand what makes content perform in search; Experience transcreating campaign assets or creative copy; Knowledge of AI‑assisted translations or localisation tools.
