The ideal candidate will have expertise inCore Java, in Multithreading,and be passionate aboutdeveloping new features on Trade Platforms.Role and responsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Develop pricing and electronic markets applications.Work with traders, developers, quants, business analysts, and vendors to develop an effective platformCollaborate with a team of global developers to set specifications for new processesProvide second-line support of applications for front-office usersProvide presentations to Application Support, Trading, Quants, and other teamsParticipate in the SDLC process and constantly work to improve the processQualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in a Math, Science or Engineering disciplineMinimum 5 years of software development experience using Java 7+Experience in a front-office trading environment mandatoryStrong skills in multithreading and concurrent programmingExperience with asynchronous and event-driven programming,developing real-time applications,building distributed systemsKnowledge of networks and topologiesFirm grounding of common algorithmsFamiliar working with LINUX environments,Oracle / SQL Server,market connectivity (FIX)Excellent oral and written communication skills, proactive team player with a “can-do” attitude, excellent analytical problem solverDesired skills:Experience in etradingKnowledge in Bonds, Swaps, Equities,...The salary range for this role is US$115,000 - US$160,000At Talan, we invest in our employees' well-being and empower them with benefits, including:401(k) retirement plan with company matching15 days of paid vacation per year at hire and up to 27 according to seniority (annual untaken vacation days are cashed out)8 paid holidays + 5 sick days + 2 personal days per year️????Company health, dental, and vision insurance plans + FSA????Voluntary STD and LTDAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
