About the job Microsoft Data Ecosystem AdministratorMicrosoft Data Ecosystem AdministratorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Microsoft Data Ecosystem Administrator to manage and optimize our SQL Server databases and Power BI Report Server infrastructure, ensuring reliable data services and business intelligence capabilities for the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesSQL Server AdministrationInstall, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances across multiple environmentsManage database performance tuning, backup/recovery strategies, and high availability solutionsImplement security policies, user management, and compliance monitoringPerform capacity planning and disaster recovery proceduresPower BI Report Server AdministrationDeploy and maintain Power BI Report Server instances and configurationsManage report deployment, data sources, and user access permissionsMonitor report performance and optimize server resourcesConfigure automated report distribution and subscription servicesData Management & IntegrationDesign and maintain SSIS packages for data extraction and transformationMonitor data quality and implement validation proceduresCoordinate with business users on reporting requirements and data modelingMaintain documentation and change management processesRequired QualificationsTechnical Skills5+ years SQL Server administration experience (2016/2019/2022)3+ years Power BI Report Server/SSRS administration experienceStrong T-SQL programming and database design skillsProficiency in PowerShell scripting and automationExperience with backup/recovery, high availability, and performance tuningKnowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory integrationPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fieldMicrosoft certifications (Azure Database Administrator, Data Analyst Associate)Experience with cloud data services (Azure SQL, Power BI Service)SSIS and data warehousing experienceBusiness intelligence and data visualization background #J-18808-Ljbffr
