Responsibilities Coding and Scripting: Writing and maintaining scripts (e.g., ReXX, JCL) to automate processes and enhance security measures. Configuring Software: Setting up and configuring mainframe security software and tools (e.g., RACF, zSecure). System Administration: Managing and maintaining the mainframe environment, including tasks like setting permissions, monitoring system logs, and ensuring compliance with security policies. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to mainframe security. Data Analysis: Analyzing security logs and data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Qualifications Strong knowledge of z/OS security architecture, RACF & USS. Expertise in security tools and technologies such as RACF, zSecure, and CARLa. Proficiency in scripting languages like ReXX, CARLa and JCL. Experience with ISPF and other mainframe utilities. Skills And Competencies A sense of humor and the ability to work well in a team.
