In this role, you leverage your technical skills, creativity and drive to improve business workflows to build powerful analytics products on Palantir Foundry. You are involved across the entirety of the product delivery cycle, from initial brainstorming workshops on developing product hypothesis, to building, testing and deploying the product, and iterating with users to incrementally create value. As you work together with business experts, you develop a deep understanding of where data & analytics can create value and start to contribute towards product roadmaps. Responsibilities Key duties and responsibilities Analytics Product Shaping. You engage directly with business product owners and business users to develop an understanding of their process and how data & analytics can be used to generate value for their areas. Palantir Foundry Implementation. You leverage the data in our data platform, transforming it to fit your use case, and build dashboards as well as workflow applications that provide insights towards the business. Agile Delivery. You work hand-in-hand with data engineers, product leads and business stakeholders in a cross-functional scrum team, leveraging modern product management techniques to quickly build valuable products incrementally. Qualifications Required experience & competencies Core skills, Technical Expertise. You love working with data and have experience both in the modelling and transforming of data pipelines as well as building visualizations and applications. You have experience writing high-quality code with Python, Spark and/or SQL. Product Management. You are interested in how great products are made with a focus on understanding user-journeys and following a user-centric design process. You have an 80/20 mind‑set and work in quick iterations. Business Interest. You have a good understanding of finance & economics with preferably some first experience in the (Re-)Insurance industry. You love digging deeper into business processes until you develop an understanding of how they work. First experience in the (Re-)Insurance industry is a plus, but not required. Can‑Do Attitude. You are a generalist that loves working on new problems independently and developing new skill sets on your own. You develop creative solutions to hard problems. You have strong analysis capacity and ability to investigate systems and data. Collaboration. You thrive when working with people with different backgrounds, helping them translate their needs into a technical design. You enjoy working in a cross‑functional team where everyone feels responsible for the outcome and brings in their ideas on how we succeed. Nice-to‑have, Technical Leadership: Experience as a technical lead in a product delivery stream, understanding of software development lifecycle. Palantir Foundry. Experience working with Palantir Foundry stack preferred, other modern data platforms. Financial knowledge: You are familiar with common finance processes (accounting, closing, planning and/or cost controlling), and the (Re-)insurance reporting standards Solvency 2 and IFRS17.
