Application Maintenance Engineer / Technical LeadJoin the Application Maintenance Engineer / Technical Lead role at Groupe EOLEN.About Alliance Services PlusA specialist in High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence for over 15 years, Alliance Services Plus operates on the largest national and industrial HPC infrastructures in France and Europe (CEA, CNRS, TotalEnergies, SAFRAN).The RoleYou will handle third-party application maintenance (TMA) of HPC and scientific applications. You will ensure the sustainability, evolution, and corrective and evolutive maintenance of existing codes while guaranteeing their proper functioning on computing infrastructures.Main ResponsibilitiesCorrective maintenance of HPC applications (bug fixes, security patches)Evolutive maintenance (adaptations, new features, version upgrades)Audit and analysis of existing code (legacy, Fortran, C/C++, Python)Refactoring and modernization of scientific applicationsManagement of dependencies, libraries, and compilation environmentsLevel 2/3 technical support on applications under maintenanceContinuous integration (CI/CD) and automated testingTechnical documentation and knowledge transferCoordination with scientific teams and developersTechnology watch and improvement proposalsRequired ProfileEducation: Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Scientific Computing, or equivalentSignificant experience in application maintenance (3+ years)Mastery of scientific languages: Fortran, C/C++, PythonExperience with legacy code and refactoringKnowledge of HPC environments (compilers, MPI libraries, BLAS, LAPACK)Version control and collaboration tools (Git, GitLab, GitHub)Testing methodologies and debuggingAssets:Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI)Knowledge of scientific applications (simulation, modeling)Code optimization skillsTechnical leadership and mentoring abilitiesPersonal Qualities: Rigor, analytical ability, autonomy, attention to detail, critical thinking, strong technical communicationConditionsPermanent contract based in France (Paris region or client sites) or BeneluxSalary according to profile and experienceOpportunity to evolve toward Technical Lead rolesVaried projects on cutting-edge scientific applicationsContinuous training and technology watch #J-18808-Ljbffr
