OverviewWe are seeking an experienced VDI Solutions & Product Service Delivery Group Manager to join our teams, at the heart of innovation for a prestigious manufacturing aerospace client in Toulouse, France. This is a high-visibility role driving critical IT services in a dynamic, world-class environment.ResponsibilitiesStakeholder CoordinationAct as the service owner between technical teams, vendors, and customer to align VDI services and solutions. Demonstrating leadership, with the ability to take independent action and decisions.Infrastructure ManagementEnsure the VDI environment is stable, secure, and scalable by managing hardware, software, and network components, including upgrades and patches.Performance Monitoring and OptimizationMonitor system performance, user experience, and capacity utilization, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability, with automation as a focus.Compliance and Security OversightEnforce security policies, data protection standards, and compliance requirements within the VDI ecosystem to safeguard organizational assets.Project Planning and ExecutionOversee end-to-end delivery of VDI projects, including planning, resource allocation, timelines, and risk management to ensure successful implementation.Job RequirementsIT Diploma and 12+ years of experience in similar rolesExpertise in VDI TechnologiesProficiency in platforms like VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and VRO/Ansible.Infrastructure KnowledgeStrong understanding of networking, storage, virtualization (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V), Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP services.Security and ComplianceFamiliarity with endpoint security, access controls, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.Scripting and Automation SkillsExperience with VRO/Ansible or other scripting languages for automating VDI deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.Monitoring and Troubleshooting ToolsHands-on experience with tools like ControlUp, VMware vRealize, or Microsoft Endpoint Manager for performance optimization.Proven experience working with and managing multicultural, geographically distributed teams; ability to foster collaboration across diverse cultural contextsExceptional analytical and organizational skills, with a strong ability to manage complex projects and drive data-informed decisionsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and team motivationFluency in both French and English is mandatory to communicate effectively with colleagues and partners, both verbally and in writing.Why joinReady for a new challenge?
