As part of our product and technical growth, we are looking for a Backend Developer to strengthen our engineering team and actively contribute to the evolution of our SaaS platform. Responsibilities Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python and Django Actively contributing to architecture and technical design decisions Working on real-world SaaS production challenges such as performance, reliability, scalability, and technical debt Analyzing and improving the existing codebase with a critical yet pragmatic mindset Collaborating closely with Product teams, including non-technical stakeholders Contributing to overall code quality through readability, testing, code reviews, and documentation Desired Education & Experience High level of autonomy, with responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining backend services Proven experience building and maintaining SaaS products Strong awareness of technical debt and the ability to prioritize it effectively over time Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code with long-term quality in mind Strong written communication skills, including documentation, technical specifications, and async collaboration Comfort working closely with non-technical stakeholders such as Product Managers and Operations teams Ability to thrive in a structured, collaborative team environment where teamwork matters more than individual ego Technical Environment Language: Python Framework: Django Databases & Tools: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis Other Requirements Flexibility and understanding of the culture of a fast-paced, commercially oriented technology company Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude, accustomed to working in an international environment Hands-on project management skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage deadlines Ability to maintain strong working relationships Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed Sound and practical business judgment Passion for making a difference and interest in having a social impact in the retail world What Goodays Offers You A front-row seat in a company transforming multiple industries with a best-in-class product and strong growth A diverse, talented, supportive, and open team you can learn from and grow with A fun and challenging working environment with strong opportunities for career development An international working environment An attractive salary package including pension, health insurance, and life insurance An open and inclusive workplace with flexible working hours and parent-friendly options The role is full remote in metropolitan France or at the Lille or Paris office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
