In February 2024, Luko joined Allianz Direct, the European digital subsidiary of the Allianz Group, to become the undisputed leader in direct home insurance in France. We have introduced a new generation of insurance: sign‑up in less than 2 minutes, an advisor within 100 seconds, and file a claim in 5 minutes. A 2022 survey showed 1 in 4 home insurance contracts sold online in France were Luko policies, and nearly half of our new customers joined through recommendations. Job Title Head of Pricing and Product – Allianz Direct France Key Responsibilities Product & Underwriting Ensure products are fit for the French direct market, taking local specificities into account. Maintain compliance with Allianz Direct and Allianz Group standards and policies. Pricing Turn the Luko and Eurofil portfolios toward profitable growth. Establish effective and efficient pricing processes in collaboration with Allianz Direct’s international tribes. Lead the French Product and Pricing Committee to assure policy and pricing consistency. Collaboration and Leadership Build and strengthen the local Product and Pricing team through training, upskilling and integration into the matrix organization. Collaborate with international colleagues and Allianz France to share best practices. Contribute to strategy as part of the local Leadership Team. Technical Excellence and Documentation Implement TEx standards and obtain necessary qualifications for the French branch. Ensure proper, auditable documentation aligned with Group standards. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Drive a culture of experimentation and improvement. Regularly benchmark the market and direct competitors to identify opportunities. Build networks across Allianz Group for technical excellence. Qualifications Strong command of pricing techniques, product analysis, and technical competitor benchmarking. Solid understanding of underwriting in relevant lines of business. Proven ability to interpret complex data. 5–7 years of proven success leading a pricing function in French P&C insurance, ideally within direct insurance. 3–5 years of proven leadership experience managing teams of 5+ colleagues. 1–3 years of experience working in an international environment. MSc/MA in applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or related discipline (certification required). Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
