With a strong heritage in STB IC innovation, Montage LZ works closely with leading Pay TV operators, ODMs, and ecosystem partners worldwide. Position Summary Montage LZ is seeking an experienced Business Development Director/Senior Director to lead and expand our Set-Top Box (STB) business across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise in STB IC business development, strong relationships with tier-1 Pay TV operators, and established access to C-level and senior decision makers within operator and STB organizations. This role will own regional strategy, key account engagement, and design-win execution, working closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams. Responsibilities Strategic Business Development Define and execute EMEA STB IC business development strategy aligned with company growth objectives Identify new design-win opportunities with Pay TV operators, Retail Channels and STB ODMs Drive long-term engagement at both operator specification and STB platform selection levels Key Account & Operator Engagement Maintain and expand senior-level relationships with Pay TV operators and retail channels Engage directly with C-level, CTO, procurement, and STB platform teams at operators Influence chipset selection during operator roadmap definition and RFP/RFQ stages Ecosystem & Partner Management Work closely with STB ODMs, system integrators, middleware, CAS/DRM partners, and reference design partners Coordinate with internal product management and R&D to align roadmaps with operator requirements Commercial & Execution Ownership Lead commercial discussions including pricing strategy, business models, and contract negotiations Support forecast planning, revenue tracking, and regional pipeline management Ensure successful handoff from design win to mass production and lifecycle support Internal Collaboration Act as the regional voice of the customer to internal teams Provide market intelligence on competitors, operator trends, and technology evolution Qualifications & Experience Required 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic accounts within the STB / Pay TV semiconductor ecosystem Proven track record in STB IC or platform-level business development Strong, existing relationships with EMEA Pay TV operators Direct experience engaging with C-level and senior management at operators and STB vendors Solid understanding of STB architectures, SoCs, CAS/DRM, middleware, and operator certification processes Preferred Background with a leading STB SoC vendor, silicon provider, or STB ODM Experience influencing operator technical specifications and reference designs Familiarity with EMEA Pay TV market dynamics (DVB, hybrid/IP, Android TV, etc.) Ability to operate independently in a senior, externally-facing role Skills & Attributes Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline Excellent communication and negotiation skills Comfortable operating at both technical and executive levels Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and accountability Willingness to travel across EMEA as required What We Offer Opportunity to shape EMEA strategy for a growing global semiconductor company High visibility role with direct impact on product roadmap and revenue Competitive compensation package aligned with senior-level responsibilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
