Redstone Commodity Search is working with a New player in the Shipping space who is expanding their team and looking to hire a Dry Cargo Ship Broker to join them in London.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Responsible for building a profitable dry cargo portfolio, actively seeking out, engaging with, and onboarding new clients.
  • Develop relationships with chartering clients, traders, and shipowners/operators to ensure ongoing stability of the portfolio.
  • Keep clear lines of communication between the operations team and counterparties to ensure a smooth process.
  • Monitor the market, ensuring up-to-date information for clients; implementing strategy and risk management on behalf of clients.
  • Role reports to the Managing Director.
Key Qualifications / Experience
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a profitable dry cargo shipbroker (working with Handymax, Supermax, and/or Panamax size vessels).
  • Open to regular travel to meet clients, develop new relationships, and maintain a strong presence in the industry.
  • A transferable portfolio of clients within the dry cargo space is advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of the landscape of the global shipping sector.
  • Role is to be located in London.
