Redstone Commodity Search is working with an international maritime services company looking for experienced dry cargo shipbrokers to join their team, ideally in their Genoa office.

• Maintain a preexisting portfolio of clients with dry cargo shipping requirements
• Responsible for actively seeking out, engaging with, and onboarding new clients
• Develop relationships with both chartering clients and shipowners to ensure ongoing stability of portfolio
• Monitor the market, ensuring up-to-date information for clients; implement strategy and risk management on behalf of clients
• Report to head of desk

• Proven experience working as a profitable dry cargo focused shipbroker (working with Handymax, Supramax, and/or Panamax size vessels)
• A portable client list of dry cargo focused business is essential
• Excellent knowledge of the landscape of the global shipping sector
• Must have an excellent ability to communicate and negotiate (written and spoken English; fluency in Italian is a bonus)
• Role can be based in London, Geneva, Genoa, or Dubai
