Head of AI / Lead AI Engineer – Agentic SystemsParis (preferred) / Europe (with monthly travel)A fast-growing seed-stage startup is building next-generation solutions at the intersection of AI and enterprise security. With a small but highly experienced founding team and strong traction with major enterprise customers, we’re now looking for our first dedicated AI leader to shape and scale the company’s agentic AI strategy.The roleWe’re seeking a hands-on AI engineer with deep experience in building agentic/LLM-driven systems. This person will be the technical authority for AI inside the company, working closely with the engineering team to design and deliver intelligent workflows that transform how security analysts assess and manage vulnerabilities. You’ll play a critical role in taking our AI capabilities from early prototypes into production-ready systems and will help define the direction of the company’s AI roadmap.What you’ll doLead the design and development of agentic AI systems for complex, real-world security workflows.Partner with software engineers to integrate LLMs into production systems (we don’t train our own models, but we build heavily on foundation models).Define best practices for agentic architectures, evaluation, and deployment.Provide technical leadership and guidance to the wider team on AI adoption.Collaborate closely with product and customer teams to translate security analyst workflows into automated AI solutions.What we’re looking forStrong software engineering background (Python, Go, or similar) with a track record of building and shipping AI-enabled products.Experience designing or working on agentic/LLM-driven systems (multi-agent, reasoning, workflow orchestration).Ability to operate autonomously as the internal AI expert, shaping direction as well as building systems.Startup mindset: pragmatic, hands-on, able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.(Nice to have) experience in security, vulnerability management, or related domains.Join at a pivotal stage: pre-Series A, with strong customer traction and the opportunity to make a company-defining impact.Work alongside a proven founding team with deep domain expertise.Competitive salary + meaningful equity package (with flexibility depending on profile).Hybrid setup: Paris preferred, but open across Europe with regular travel.
