We are looking for a passionate, engaging and experienced SENIOR MERCHANDISER – FOOTWEAR & JEWELLERY to join our Paris headquarters, reporting to the Senior Merchandising Manager,

with a scope covering the global functions of Collection Merchandising & Sales Merchandising across the Footwear and Jewellery categories.

The successful candidate’s key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

COLLECTION MERCHANDISING

  • Alongside the Senior Merchandising Manager, lead the product strategy to gain market share and ensure long-term growth in line with the brand's global vision.
  • Build the collection structure and briefing for designers, incorporating the Artistic Director's vision, market opportunities, competitive analysis, sales performance, and customer feedback.
  • Oversee the development of the collection from sketch to final product: lead reviews with creative and development teams, ensure tracking tools and budgets are updated, and initiate corrective actions to achieve collection goals (balance, pricing, margins).
  • Define pricing in different currencies and ensure target positioning and margins are achieved; monitor pricing throughout the season and initiate necessary strategic repricing.
  • Be the referent for the product database accuracy (assortment, product names, prices) and for setting up an efficient product database review and validation process and critical path aligned with the integration, buying, and production deadlines.
  • Build delivery drops, develop purchasing guidelines, and create core assortments across sales channels.
  • Develop and lead collection presentations and training sessions for Retail and Wholesale teams.

SALES MERCHANDISING

  • Collaborate with support teams to ensure a 360-degree visibility of strategic directions through training, visual merchandising, communication, etc.
  • Oversee category budgets in collaboration with the Retail Buying & Planning teams, and participate in OTB reviews based on sales targets and product mix.
  • Monitor and drive sell-in and sell-out performance, implementing action plans to achieve sales objectives in collaboration with 360 teams.
  • Collaborate with retail and wholesale teams to curate tailored assortments and optimize production lead times, and define end-of-life strategy.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERTISES

  • A minimum of 7 years of successful experience in Merchandising within international fashion houses, with significant experience in Shoes.
  • A creative mindset and a passion for fashion and trends, paired with excellent analytical skills.
  • A proactive personality, capable of managing projects independently and working efficiently with teams based in Australia, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proven team management experience and a strong interest in talent development.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative personalities and commercial teams.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
