Salesforce/NetSuite Engineering Manager, Commercial Systems Canonical is a leading provider of open‑source software and operating systems for global enterprise and technology markets. Our flagship platform, Ubuntu, powers public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT initiatives worldwide. This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region. Responsibilities Accountability for the design and development of an internal product Leading a team of software engineers Developing the skills and capabilities of direct reports Seeking improvements to established processes, designs, and solutions Building an understanding of business needs to deliver the most impact Qualifications Exceptional academic track record from high school and university Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about an alternative chosen path Track record of going above‑and‑beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results Experience with software development in Salesforce, NetSuite, or other CRM/ERP systems Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills Result‑oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks long Nice‑to‑have skills Experience with accounting, sales, sales operations, or other business roles Performance engineering What we offer Distributed work environment with twice‑yearly team sprints in person Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year Annual compensation review Recognition rewards Annual holiday leave Maternity and paternity leave Employee Assistance Program Opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues Priority Pass, and travel upgrades for long haul company events About Canonical Canonical is a pioneering tech firm at the forefront of the global move to open source.
