Airswift is currently looking for a Senior SCM Engineer / Specialist to work with our Client based in Paris, FranceIndustry: O&GLocation: ParisDESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION :Senior SCM Engineer / Specialist for Oil & Gas projectManages procurement of complex “engineered” materials and/or services as allocated by the Project SCM ManagerIs globally responsible and accountable for the final delivery of the materials/services as per project requirements: technical specifications, safety, budget, schedule, quality, contractual risks, etc.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPre-AwardCoordinates with other disciplines (Engineering, QA, QC & HSE) to ensure all requirements are included in pre-qualification and tender documents, including contractual flowdowns, and prepares/issues RFQ to suppliers using SAP Ariba.Coordinates with disciplines to review and clarify all bids, conducting contractual, commercial, and schedule analyses, and liaising for timely review of technical, quality, and HSE sections.Finalizes bid summaries and makes recommendations to the Project SCM Manager and Project Manager.Performs commercial negotiations to ensure the best deal.Award ManagementPrepares subcontract documents and Supplier Commitment Approval (SCA) and deviation matrices for management approval.Creates PR & PO in SAP, expedites approval, and manages post-award activities including signatures via Docusign.Ensures PO requirements are understood and integrated into the project execution plan, understanding supplier strategies and associated risks.Develops mitigation measures for PO risks, defines convergence plans, monitors progress, and communicates priorities. Organizes audits, monitors documentation, and manages technical queries and reports. Acts as the main contact with suppliers for commercial, contractual, and progress matters, coordinating with other project functions and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
